In production we faced quite a few struggles including scheduling, camera issues, and things with props and costume so I am going to be explaining them and how they were resolved.
Scheduling:
Our main problem faced was scheduling, we had originally planned to film a few days before break but something happened to one of our actresses so we had to reschedule. We then planned to film in the middle of the break which lead to the casting changes since someone was on vacation. A few days into break someone from my group got the new flu strand so we had to delay our filming again and ended up filming a few days later.
Camera:
Another problem faced was struggles with the camera. The camera was not fully charged when we started filming so it kept dying during our filming process. This made us have to stop and charge the cameras battery. This did delay our filming process and made it take a bit longer but it was something very easy to overcome.
Another thing that I struggled a little with was getting the camera to focus and keeping it stable. There were a couple scenes that I struggled in getting the camera to focus, I had to zoom the camera in and out a couple times before it was able refocus. There were a couple times we were trying to do some static shots and my hands would move a bit and we would have to reshoot because it made the film look messy and it was no longer a static shot if there was movement.
Costume/Props:
We also had some very small issues with the wig used in the filming process and with some of our props. Alejandra (the female protagonist wearing the wig) has very long hair so we had to tie it up in a bun to be able to put the wig on. Since the wig had short hair we struggled a little in covering the bun and we had to refilm a few shots to make sure her original hair wasnt showing.
We faced a problem with our poison prop as well, we had to get a glass of water from the place we were filming at so we had one try to get the poison right since it was red and would color the water. The first time we did it the liquid wouldn't come out fast enough and made the clip look awkward so we had to get a new glass and try it again.
