Editing Process

Hello today in my blog I will be talking about how I felt when editing my final project!

We used Premeire Pro to do our editing and my group and I took a screen recording as we edited part of our film so in this blog I will be inserting that video. It was a very long video so I had to speed it up a lot. 

Struggles:

Since we had already done a practice using Premiere Pro a lot of the struggle was just us trying to remember how to use some tools.

Something we struggled at was moving the clips around, in the picture we were trying to move a clip to the front by dragging it but this made the clips keep overlapping. We were struggling at this until we figured out how to manually add the clip in to where we need it. 

Something we used a lot was the split and cut tools. A lot of the clips we used were too long or had a lot of extra footage that wasn't needed so we ended up splitting the clips and cutting out the parts we didn't need with the tools. I circled the tools and the cut button is cut off. 

Another struggle we had was that we kept accidentally duplicating some clips when editing them and it just wasted some time. We had to delete the duplicated clips but it wasn't anything we couldn't fix.
